Carlo Infante was born in Rome, live in Turin and work both as journalist and new media consultant.
As expert of new media he plans and carries out Seminars for Universities (Scienze della Comunicazione - Università di Siena, Sociologia della Comunicazione e dello Spettacolo - Università di Urbino, DAMS - Università di Bologna); as author he followed for RAI, the cycle "Mediamente.scuola" and the sat-transmissions "Futur Channel".
As cultural consultant he collaborates with the Sistema Bibliotecario Romano on the project "Edutainment" and with TIN-Telecom, as member of the Scientific Committee of webscuola/tin.it, the portal of online education.
He leads seminars on the relationship between reading and new media in Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi di Bologna and Fiera del Libro di Torino. For the Biennale Teatro di Venezia he coordinates "Teatron, the online diary", elaborated with the boys of the Venetian schools.
He has recently published "Educare On Line" and "Imparare giocando. L'interattività tra teatro e ipermedia" (Bollati Boringhieri) about the new forms of multimedia creativeness in the educational field.

Contents
  • The lesson will use cdrom and website’s projections. An on-line forum will be opened for the feedback analysis on the themes: Interaction/Interface/Info Design and the strategy around Performing Media.
The topics of the lesson are:
  • content design and new strategies for multi-platform systems that utilise mobile phones, Internet (wi-fi connections), broadcast radio-TV
  • the creation of spectacular events based on the new digital communication systems to connect places, museums, markets and other kind of urban spaces
  • the opportunity of creating an educational strategy that makes possible a permanent training course using the new technologies in a creative and innovative way.
